Required Reset for ActiveVOS Perspectives

If you maintain your existing Workspace when you upgrade ActiveVOS Designer, we recommend the following best practices so that you can take advantage of new features:

• Reset both of the ActiveVOS Designer perspectives. From the Window menu, select Reset Perspective for the perspective in focus. For details, see ActiveVOS Perspectives.
• Delete the current server configuration and add a new server. The ActiveVOS embedded server runs from a plugin that includes version details. Each time you upgrade to a new version, you must delete the old server configuration by navigating to Window>Preferences>Server>Runtime Environments and select Remove to delete ActiveVOS Embedded Server. Then select Add from this same dialog to install a new server runtime environment.
