ActiveVOS Server Console Help

Central Service

Select the Central Service page from the Admin menu. The settings on the Central Service page are for configuration of the ActiveVOS Central application. This application hosts Process Request Forms, People activity tasks, and reports.

Inbox URI

The Console needs to know the server location of the ActiveVOS Central application in order to communicate with it. For example, the Active Tasks report provides a link to Central. By default, the Central application runs at the URI of:

ae:task-inbox

This URI is mapped to:

http://localhost:8080/activevos-central

Central Configurations

Developers can deploy multiple Central Configuration files to configure the display of folders and filters in ActiveVOS Central, as well as deployment details for HTML forms.

There are three system configuration files to set the defaults for ActiveVOS Central. They are referenced in the com.activee.avoscentral.services project.

You can select one of the following:

Use All Configuration Files
Use Only Configurations Selected Below

Add a checkmark to each configuration file you want and select Update.

For more information, see URN Mappings. Change the host and port, as needed. Do not change the application name.
