ActiveVOS Designer User’s Guide

Deploying Your Process to ActiveVOS Server

You can deploy your processes directly to the running server. Process deployment can also be accomplished in the ActiveVOS Server Console.

You can deploy additional, non-process, resources to the server, such as business process event statements, XML configuration files and other files. See .Deploying Resources to the Server.

To deploy your process to ActiveVOS Server within ActiveVOS Designer:

  1. Ensure that the server is running.
  2. Select File>Export>Business Process Archive File.
  3. Select the process deployment descriptor file(s) (.pdd files) and partner definition files (.pdef files) to include in the .bpr archive.
  4. Select the export location and filename for the .bpr archive. This allows you to save the .bpr file to the file system.
  5. In the Deployment section, select Web Service as the Type, as shown in the following example.
  6. Export Business Process Archive dialog

  7. In the Deployment URL field, change localhost:8080 to match the address of your server, if necessary.
  8. If required for your server, specify the username and password.

  9. Select Next to deploy additional resources, or select Finish to deploy the archive to the server.

For details, see Deploying Resources to the Server.

The Deployment Complete dialog appears when you deploy a .bpr file to the server.
