ActiveVOS Designer User’s Guide
ActiveVOS Designer includes the following components:
The Tutorial and other orchestration samples contain files to get you started on basic and special processes. You can use the tutorial as described in ActiveVOS Tutorial.
BPEL templates provide you with built-in functions for special-purpose processes based on system services, such as email, identity, and REST.
Set up a configuration for an ActiveVOS server and deploy your process for testing. The Tomcat server is embedded in the Designer application and is pre-configured to work with the sample applications that ship with the product.
Generate a form based on the input message of the starting process activity. Fill in the form and submit it to start a process instance on the server.
A process that includes a People activity sends tasks to users. A secured application lists tasks and contains workflow commands for managing tasks.
The installation wizard allows you to select the Bunit Runtime to install the Eclipse plugins necessary to run ActiveVOS Designer scripts outside of Designer. These scripts include BPRD and BUnit Ant files. BPRD scripts include targets for deployments to the ActiveVOS Server. BUnit scripts include targets for unit testing your BPEL processes.
Transform a BPEL file to a business process model (BPM) for analyzing a process’s key performance indicators, such as resource usage and bottlenecks.
