Showing and Hiding Activities

You can preserve Process Editor real estate in the following ways:

Expanding and Collapsing Container Activities

You can collapse the display of container activities. The container activities are Sequence, If, While, Pick, Flow, Scope, Repeat Until, and For Each. They are listed in the Container palette.

To collapse a container, such as a scope, select the Collapse icon adjacent to the container, or select Collapse from the right-mouse menu. The small icon, illustrated in the collapsed scope below, indicates the container is collapsed. To expand a container, select the icon, or select Expand from the right-mouse menu.

Changing the Process Detail Level

You can select a level of detail to show for a process. Level five is the default, and shows the entire process. Levels one through four hide various types of activities and containers to provide a larger-grained view of the process flow. To select a detail level, use the toolbar button, or right-click on any activity to select Detail Level. Any hidden activity can be displayed by selecting it in the Outline view.
