The Artifacts view allows you to organize and browse
external Web service artifacts, such as WSDL and XML schemas and business
process models. You can import artifacts
from a local file system. Once artifacts are imported, you can perform various
actions to copy information to the process model.
You
can use drag and drop to copy a portion of metadata in the artifact from the
Artifacts view into a process model. When you do so, the change does not appear
on the model; it is only reflected in the Properties view.
