Mapping from Microsoft Visio to BPMN

You can import shapes from Microsoft® Visio files.  In order to import a Visio file in its native format (*.vsd), a licensed copy of Visio 2003 must be installed on your computer.  Alternatively, you can save a Visio file as XML Drawing (*.vdx) and the XML drawing file can then be imported without Visio 2003 on your computer.

·         Visio import is supported only for Visio 2003 diagrams.

·          The Visio file must not be open in Visio when you attempt to import it.

·         The Cut/Copy and Paste commands cannot be used to import a Visio diagram as a model.

·         Shapes and their labels will be transferred, but formatting (line colors, fill colors, etc.) will not.
