Messages

Messages consist of one or more logical parts. Each part is associated with a Type from some type system using a message-typing attribute. The set of message-typing attributes is extensible. WSDL defines several such message-typing attributes for use with XSD:

  1. Name. Refers to an XSD element using an assigned name.
  2. Type. Refers to an XSD simpleType or complexType.

Use the context menu of a process object in Outline view to add or delete a named message. Messages can be referenced by triggers, and input or output message of activities. Message contents can be changed through assignment.
