Annotations

An Annotation is a type of Artifact that can be selected from the element palette.

An Annotation is text used to give the reader of the model or diagram clarification about an item in the diagram. It differs from regular text. Regular text is part of the model and defines elements of it; Annotation text is not an integral part of the model, but is commentary on it.
