What is a Business Process Archive?

A business process archive is a container for all the relevant files needed for deploying a BPEL process to the ActiveVOS server. It is an archive file with a .bpr extension and is similar to a Web archive file.

You can create a .bpr file in ActiveVOS Designer. For details, see Creating a Business Process Archive in ActiveVOS Designer online help.

The basic business process archive includes:

• BPEL process (.bpel file). See What is a BPEL Process?
• WSDL file that is referenced in the BPEL process (.wsdl file)
