ActiveVOS Designer BPEL for People User’s Guide
If desired, you can select the actual group name from your company’s LDAP or other identity service for a human task participant. To do so, select the button at the end of the Name field in a Logical People Group’s Properties view.
The purpose of selecting a name is to give your Logical People Group a meaningful name. When you create a Process Deployment Descriptor for the process, you must select the actual names from the Identity Chooser.
Note that you must configure and enable an Identity Service before selecting from the Identity Chooser.

Tip: You can wait until deployment to map one or more groups from your Identity Service to a Logical People Group.
