Generating an image file

ActiveVOS lets you take a screen shot of the business process model by exporting the image. You can use the image for reports or share it with others.

Exporting the model

This method exports the entire model (diagram) as an image.

1. Select the tab of the editor view for the BPMN model you want to copy.
2. On the Modeling menu, select Generate Image File
3. Specify the directory, file name, and image type input. The supported image file formats include Bitmap (*.bmp), GIF (*.gif), JPEG (*.jpg, *.jpeg), TIFF (*.tiff), and SVG (*.svg).
4. Click OK.

Copying the model

You can also copy the model to the clipboard. To do so:

1. On the Edit menu, select Select All (or use CTRL-A).

2. On the Edit menu, select Copy (or use CTRL-C).

3. Open any other application that supports the clipboard and use the Paste command to insert the image into the application.

Copying a portion of the model

To copy only a portion of the model:

1. Select the elements to be copied (hold down the Shift key to select multiple elements, or hold the left mouse button down while dragging the selection box around the elements you want).

2. On the Edit menu, select Copy (or use CTRL-C).
