Creating a sub-process

To create a sub-process:

1. Insert one activity inside another.

2. Select the activity. In Properties view, select the Activity Type.

· An Embedded sub-process shares the same data as the parent process.

· An Independent sub-process requires that you select a diagram reference and process reference; the process is independent of the data for the current process diagram.

· A Reference sub-process requires that you select another activity within the current diagram as the reference point.
