Configuring the tomcat-users.xml file in the ActiveVOS Server

After you modify the tomcat-users.xml file, as described in Setting Up the tomcat-users.xml File, do the following:

1. Start up the ActiveVOS server embedded in Designer, from the Servers view.
2. Select the ActiveVOS Console icon in the Designer toolbar or by typing the URL in a Web browser:

http://localhost:8080/activevos

where you enter the host and port values for your server.

3. On the Identity Service page of the ActiveVOS Console, ensure that XML File is the Provider Type, and that the Identity Service is enabled.
